What's Different
-
Series - The Adventures
of Freddy the Fish is the first in a series of
"Read-A-Round"™ storybooks, featuring interactive
characters, beautifully illustrated fold-out storyboards, and
multilingual texts published for the play and enjoyment of children
all around the world
-
Multilingual text - This new
multilingual approach to children's book publishing breaks new
ground in how children can learn other languages as they play. Kids
can actually stick and peel several versions of the text on the same
page, comparing the words they rhyme in different languages, and
learning how much some of them have in common. Translation of the
text into several languages ensures the book's enjoyment by
multilingual readers around the world. The electrostatic
translations are transparent and they may be placed anywhere on the
page, so the words never get in the way of fun!
-
Interactive characters - The richly
colored electrostatic characters interact with the flow of the
rhyme and the dream-like seascape. They can move along with the
text, or the child can choose to use the storyboard layout of the
book as a background to his or her own imaginative story - they can
even leap out of the blue onto any smooth surface, like windows,
mirrors and fridge doors!
